Key Responsibilities:

Support the daily running of all bar areas within the complex, ensuring high standards at all times.
Lead shifts confidently, ensuring smooth service, appropriate staffing levels, and strong team communication.
Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency throughout all bar areas.
Manage stock effectively, including rotation, waste control, cellar management, and ensuring availability during service.
Motivate, coach, and support team members to deliver outstanding guest service and strong performance.
Assist with training and onboarding new team members, ensuring they understand service standards, procedures, and compliance.
Provide clear leadership during busy periods, stepping in to support any bar or front-of-house area as required.
Act as Duty Manager when needed, taking responsibility for decision-making in the absence of the Complex Manager. This includes being a key holder.
Lead by example, delivering warm, professional, and efficient service.
Resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively to ensure positive, memorable experiences.
Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for families, holidaymakers, and guests of all ages.
Uphold licensing laws at all times, including Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service.
Ensure the team follows all health & safety, food hygiene, allergen compliance and fire safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong leadership and communication skills
A positive, hands-on approach to work and team support
The ability to remain calm, organised, and effective during high-volume service
Good knowledge of bar operations, cellar management, and licensing laws
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a busy holiday park environment
Previous experience in bar or hospitality supervision, with the ambition to progress into an Assistant Bar Manager role
Experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments
Holiday park, restaurant, nightclub, or family-oriented venue experience (beneficial but not essential)
Driving licence (desirable)
Barista trained (desirable)
First Aid trained (desirable)
