<p>Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences? We are seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to join our Bar team. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout our busy bar areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to support the smooth, efficient running of our bar operations.</p><p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Seasonal, full-time position available</li><li>Availability required for evenings, weekends, bank and school holidays</li><li>Live-in accommodation available for eligible candidates</li></ul><p><strong>What can we offer you?</strong></p><ul><li>Complimentary/discounted use of our Parks’ facilities</li><li>Generous discounts on food when you dine with us</li><li>Discounted holiday rates for friends and family</li><li>Discounted gym membership and cinema tickets at our Parks</li><li>Full uniform and training provided</li><li>Free car parking</li><li>Pension scheme with employer contributions</li><li>Company events</li><li>Subsidised live-in accommodation (for the right candidates)</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the daily running of all bar areas within the complex, ensuring high standards at all times.</li><li>Lead shifts confidently, ensuring smooth service, appropriate staffing levels, and strong team communication.</li><li>Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency throughout all bar areas.</li><li>Manage stock effectively, including rotation, waste control, cellar management, and ensuring availability during service.</li><li>Motivate, coach, and support team members to deliver outstanding guest service and strong performance.</li><li>Assist with training and onboarding new team members, ensuring they understand service standards, procedures, and compliance.</li><li>Provide clear leadership during busy periods, stepping in to support any bar or front-of-house area as required.</li><li>Act as Duty Manager when needed, taking responsibility for decision-making in the absence of the Complex Manager. This includes being a key holder.</li><li>Lead by example, delivering warm, professional, and efficient service.</li><li>Resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively to ensure positive, memorable experiences.</li><li>Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for families, holidaymakers, and guests of all ages.</li><li>Uphold licensing laws at all times, including Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service.</li><li>Ensure the team follows all health &amp; safety, food hygiene, allergen compliance and fire safety procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>The ideal candidate will have:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong leadership and communication skills</li><li>A positive, hands-on approach to work and team support</li><li>The ability to remain calm, organised, and effective during high-volume service</li><li>Good knowledge of bar operations, cellar management, and licensing laws</li><li>A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences</li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a busy holiday park environment</li><li>Previous experience in bar or hospitality supervision, with the ambition to progress into an Assistant Bar Manager role</li><li>Experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments</li><li>Holiday park, restaurant, nightclub, or family-oriented venue experience (beneficial but not essential)</li><li>Driving licence (desirable)</li><li>Barista trained (desirable)</li><li>First Aid trained (desirable)</li></ul><p><strong>A bit about us!</strong></p><p>We operate three award-winning family holiday resorts in Woolacombe, North Devon – Woolacombe Bay, Twitchen House, and Easewell Farm.
